TexRacks is more than just a wall-mounted storage solution for Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars — it was created by an actual collector who understood the problem firsthand.
Like many collectors, his collection started with just a few cars. But as the collection grew, so did the challenge of finding a practical way to store and display them. Shelves took up too much space, boxes meant the cars were hidden away, and existing storage solutions simply didn’t provide the flexibility or accessibility he was looking for.
That frustration sparked an idea:

What started as a simple idea gradually turned into a journey of experimentation, design and development. He began working on different concepts, testing materials, adjusting dimensions and figuring out how to create a system that could hold a growing collection while making the cars easy to see, access and enjoy. There were challenges along the way, but every setback helped refine the idea.
The goal was never just to build another display rack. It was to create something that solved a real problem for collectors — a system that could make better use of wall space, keep collections organized and, most importantly, allow collectors to proudly display the cars they had spent years searching for and collecting.
And that’s how TexRacks came to life. What began as one collector trying to solve a problem with his own collection eventually evolved into a storage solution designed for collectors everywhere.
