https://theparadoxstudio.com Pokhara is one of the best places to visit in Nepal, as is also the viewpoint of most Nepalis. We lived here for 4+ Months and met really interesting people and made some good friends.
The city will always have a special place in our hearts. We were there after the earth quake and during the blockage of their borders by India. A difficult time for the Nepalese, yet some how with very little, they seemed to be happy.
Pokhara has this nice location on a lake side, with 2+ Kms of cheap local goods markets with loads of great restaurants, cafe’s, shops, yoga and meditation centres on the way. The best time to visit Pokhara is in December end, thats the time of the Pokhara street festival, but if you are like us who wants to stay, well live in certain places, you can go anytime.
