Living on the streets every day and night tend to open your eyes to a nightmare one can only imagine. What Abdullah experienced after running away from his house is a lesson of life which child does not deserve, no matter who or where they are from.. Everyone on the street are tried and tested each and every moment of their existence.
In this teaser as one may call it.. for there are yet many to follow… we hear from Abdullah what he had to go through on the streets of karachi. “Nangay Paon — Barefeet” is a story of 5 homeless kids who ended up on the streets due to different circumstances. It revolves around their experiences and how and what they had to do to survive on the streets and in the underworld.
The purpose of this documentary is to raise awareness and funds to make a place that these kids and thousands of others like them can call home. A place where these kids could learn different traits and skills to make an honest living. A place where they could have happy childhood memories.
