Next week, the world celebrates #InternationalYouthDay and, to get you ready and inspired for it, we invite you to watch Tania Lee’s story.
Tania Lee Xu Yar is an #IOCYoungLeader 2021-2024 from Malaysia who is equipping young athletes of all abilities to become leaders. Her own experience and struggles in sport inspired her to found iLeap so the next generation can have more opportunities and face fewer difficulties. Through her “Inclusive Leadership Programme” project, Tania is helping form leaders with a comprehensive approach that focus on sport values, healthy living, life skills, and social competency.
For the youth aspiring to become a leader in sport themselves, Tania has a piece of advice: “If you want to be a young leader, you need to have the passion and you need to have the conviction that sport can actually do good for society.”
